Rome, the eternal city, rebuilt on a planet deep in the Plejades sector of the Galaxy is the first new home planet of the USO. Rome was explored under dreadful circumstances because it was the home planet of an alien (well, like we are too) race comparable with crytsaline lifeforms. The USO explorer teams didn’t recognized these lifeforms as lifeforms and built up their technological equipment whereever it was needed. The oscillations of the equippment than killed every lifeform planetwide and destroyed a civilization. When the scientists of the USO got an idea from the existing civilization they instantly stopped the populating of Planet Rome, but it was too late. Monuments on Rome are showing the tragedy of this genocide. United Stars Organization The rare star bases of the Untied Stars Organization are space bases for fleet operations and trading purposes. Each of them is located near to primary administrative or fleet zones. These bases are huge ports with docks, shipyards and repair facilities. A few of them are free trade areas. In reality however, relatively few of the fleet ships ever travel to their theoretical base. The main function of a star base is fleet administration and trade relations.

Information: Florence is one of the rare trading ports of the USO. These ports are also serving as command installations for the United Stars Military.
